About Experiment Space:
Instead of presenting finished case studies, the project focuses on the fragments behind them — visual systems, unused concepts, motion tests, spatial compositions and exploratory interfaces that normally remain hidden from public view.
Built as an interactive environment rather than a traditional portfolio, the archive transforms continuously through movement and navigation, allowing visitors to move between structured forms and horizontal streams of visual material.
The project reflects an important part of Obys’ process: experimentation not as a separate activity, but as a permanent condition of the studio’s practice, where research, unfinished ideas and visual exploration become as valuable as final outcomes.

Design for Love:
Over the years, alongside commercial work, we’ve maintained an internal practice at Obys called Design for Love — dedicated time where designers are free to create self-initiated projects driven by curiosity, research, and experimentation rather than briefs or business goals.
Some of these experiments later became an important part of the studio itself: Typography Principles, Grids, AIM — AI Modernism of Kharkiv, and other independent explorations that helped shape our visual language and way of thinking.
Obys Experiment Space continues this practice. Not as a portfolio, but as an archive of unfinished ideas, hidden concepts, unreleased directions, and fragments of the process that usually remain invisible behind final case studies.
